Founded in Orlando, Florida in February 2023 by Maria Garcia and her husband, Roinel Cequea, Divilma was born from a passion for artisanal baking and the simple idea that great food has the power to bring people together. Blending generations of family-inspired recipes with a modern bakery experience, Divilma quickly became known for its warm atmosphere, handcrafted quality, and creative flavors.

The name “Divilma” carries a deeply personal meaning. It was chosen in honor of Maria’s mother, Vilma, whose memory continues to inspire the heart, warmth, and sense of family behind everything we create.

At Divilma, every cinnamon roll is handcrafted from scratch using premium ingredients, baked fresh daily, and made with an unwavering attention to detail. From our signature classic rolls to our seasonal creations and specialty flavors, every product is designed to deliver comfort, indulgence, and a memorable experience in every bite.

What started as a small local bakery dream quickly found its home in the vibrant community of Central Florida.

Our Beginnings

Divilma’s journey began at local farmers markets across Central Florida, where we introduced our handcrafted cinnamon rolls to the community one weekend at a time.

From the very beginning, the response was incredible. Customers were drawn to the aroma of freshly baked rolls, the soft layers of buttery dough, and the creative flavors that made every visit feel unique. What began with a single table and a family recipe soon became one of the most anticipated stops at local markets every weekend.

Today, Divilma proudly participates in some of Central Florida’s most beloved community markets, including the Winter Garden Farmers Market, Windermere Farmers Market, and Orlando Farmers Market, along with other local spaces where craftsmanship, small business, and community thrive together.

As the demand for our cinnamon rolls continued to grow, so did our commitment to maintaining the handcrafted quality that defines our brand. Scaling production while preserving the freshness, consistency, and artisanal care behind every roll became one of our greatest challenges — and one of our proudest accomplishments.

Every weekend, hundreds of freshly baked cinnamon rolls leave our ovens and make their way to families, celebrations, gatherings, and homes throughout Central Florida. Despite our growth, our mission has remained the same: create products that feel homemade, comforting, and genuinely special.

More importantly, Divilma became more than a bakery. It became part of people’s routines, traditions, and moments of connection.

In 2025, Henry Perez and Elsimar Durango joined Divilma as partners, bringing valuable experience and strategic investment to support the next stage of the company’s growth, including the development of our first flagship location in Orlando, Florida.

Today, every cinnamon roll we bake continues to reflect the passion, creativity, and dedication that inspired Divilma from the very beginning.
